Sign up for Summer Camp Today!


 The Cumberland County YMCA has offered summer camp activities for
children in our community for almost 80 years. Our goal is to provide a
caring, safe and fun atmosphere that allows campers to experience a
variety of activities, to try new things and to challenge themselves.
Teamwork and the Y's Character Development Traits of Honesty, Caring,
Respect, and Responsibility play an important role in all of our
programs and are incorporated into all aspects of camp.

L.L.Bean 4th of July 10K & Fun Run


Make a day of it with the races in the morning, a parade, L.L.Bean
Outdoor Discovery School activities, a concert and fireworks to top of
the evening!  10K runners will enjoy complimentary massages, food and
prizes for category winners, plus t-shirts for the first 700 runners.
All kids in the Fun Run/Walk will receive a medal, plus a t-shirt.
Proceeds from this event will support scholarships for children, adults

25th Annual YMCA Peaks-to-Portland Swim Volunteers Needed


This year's 180-person swim is full, but volunteers are still needed to
make the event a success.  If you are interested in working on the
beach, kayaking as a support boat, or have a motor boat that can be used
as a safety boat, we'd love to have your help.  Please contact Terry
